Upload all required documents. They must be in English — the selection process is conducted in English by a French and Israeli jury panel.

Your application is complete only once both steps are done. Only then can you submit.

Required documents

For the Chateaubriand fellowship, prepare the following — all in English:

Invitation letter from the French host institution (with planned dates of stay)
A valid employment contract or fellowship attestation from an Israeli research institution
Scientific project description (2 to 4 pages)
Motivation / cover letter (1 to 2 pages)
Curriculum vitae, including list of publications (max 5 pages)
Copy of the first passport page + a passport-style photo
Up to 3 optional documents (awards, conferences, reference letters…)

Important: your application is not complete until both steps are finished. Reference letters are uploaded directly by your referees.
